NSR Instream Flow Needs Scoping Study

The North Saskatchewan River Instream Flow Needs (IFN) Scoping Study

As part of the NSWA’s Integrated Watershed Management Plan process, the Instream Flow Needs (IFN) for the maintenance of the integrity of the aquatic ecosystems within the North Saskatchewan River Basin needs to be determined. This study presents a scope of work for the development of an IFN assessment framework for the NSR. It includes a review of potential IFN methods and an assessment of general suitability to the NSR. The cost of each of these methods is explored in this study.
