Watershed management planning necessarily interfaces with other types of municipal and regional land use planning.   Agencies or governments with land use planning authority are essential partners in developing the Integrated Watershed Management Plan. NSWA will strive to integrate land and water planning under Water for Life, the Land Use Framework, and the Cumulative Effects Management Framework.
