September 29, 2009 - October 1, 2009 : River Rally 2009
Hosted by Alberta Ecotrust Foundation in collaboration with Water Matters, North Saskatchewan Watershed Alliance, and Alberta Stewardship Network, River Rally 2009 was a training and networking workship for individuals and groups working on watershed stewardship, management, and protection in Alberta. It is part of the Watershed Protectors program, funded by Petro-Canada. The program aims to improve long-term watershed protection in Alberta by assisting local watershed stewards to work more effectively and collaboratively in their conservation and protection roles.
River Rally 2009 was a learning pool for water leaders and learners in Alberta to bring their best ideas forward and tap into the wealth of knowledge, learning, and action from water thought leaders. It was also a place to co-create sustainable, resilient and thriving strategies for watershd protection in Alberta. We invited water leaders, water practitioners, and water learners to come and participate!
Early registration (before August 15th): $110
Regular registration: $140
