Hydrodynamic and Water Quality Model of the North Sask River

An improved water quality model was developed using the existing HSPF watershed model in order to evaluate the effects on water quality under a range of hydrologic conditions, point and non-point source contaminant loadings, and land use scenarios.  A specific model was built and calibrated for use on Abraham Lake and the Brazeau Reservoir, and watershed and receiving water models were linked to serve as a basin-wide management tool.
